Sabres Re-Sign Gragnani to One Year Deal

The Buffalo Sabres announced today that they have re-signed defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani to a one-year deal.

Gragnani played in 66 games with Sabres AHL affiliate Portland last season, notching 12 goals to go along with 43 points. Gragnani has played in 6 career games with the Sabres and has recorded no points, but is considered a future NHLer as a puck-moving, offensive defensman.

Gragnani was a restricted free agent, meaning he really didn’t have much choice other than to sign with the Sabres, unless he wanted to go overseas to play in Europe.
